Client

In 2016 we began cooperation with our new customer - company «Open House», which produced some projects in sphere of crowdfunding. This cooperation continues to this day. At this moment 14 thousands people taking part in this projects, budget of it's over 400 millions russian rubles and these numbers continue to increase. One of this projects is consumer's co-operative, in which not only enters, but also gives multimillion-dollar amounts of money.

The main task

A client came with an idea of platform which could collect funding for projects with a budget of hundreds of millions of rubles using the technology of crowdinvesting and technically ensure the safety of these investments.

The platform had to meet the requirements of a phased realization technology created by the client. This technology implies the division of the project budget into separate stages and the collection of funds for each of them, as well as tracking the implementation of funds during implementation.

Besides, the system had to be able to allocate fund-raising among investors in accordance with their shares in the project, as well as help project investors to realize them on a turnkey basis.

Apptech has developed a platform which allows to invest safely and earn income, has put together a special team of software developers and quality assurance specialists to develop, test and refine the new platform.

Thereafter we started promoting projects that are being implemented on this platform and improving it.

Result

As a result, the OPENi.ru platform was created. There are three projects are being implemented: the service for the sale and rental of real estate Openh.ru and the consumer program KOPIKUPI of the Open House cooperative, which allows to buy property or a car without resorting to bank loans. The project to scale the offices of the company Open House is also has being implemented on the platform. Openi is capable not only to make investments and determine the share of each individual investor, but also to distribute the income of the project, and also serves as an information resource for investors. Information about the completed stages, accounting reports, as well as other important messages relating to the project are being published on this resource.

In addition, what we have done:

  • connected up turnkey technical support,
  • collected feedback and improved product,
  • reworked the old design into a new one, left only what is convenient for users (modified UX), we added new functions, updated the UI completely, prepared the platform for promotion, and soon it will switch to a new design.

Technologies

The platform is based on the following technologies:

  • Front-end part on Angular 1.5 framework
  • back-end has been developed for php-framework Laravel, Redis is for data storage
  • PHPUnit for unit testing
  • Docker to automate the deployment of applications on servers
  • back-end component is placed on dedicated servers in the city of St. Petersburg, fully complies with all the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation

A large number of third-party services on API were connected:

  • payment gateway Uniteller
  • email sending out by Sendsay service
  • MTS SMS-sending
  • ITN (Individual Taxpayer Number) verification on the tax website
  • passport check for correctness of filling and relevance
  • automatic signature of electronic documents using EDS
  • monitoring track status of mailing numbers from the Russian Post site
  • integration and connection of terminal hardware
  • integration and connection of mobile applications for Open House
  • Firebase service connection from Google for sending push notifications from the service through the Open House mobile application
  • VK API connection to automate analytics to attract users and upload key indicators online in the social network.

What was the result?

As for the main functionality of the website, the client part consists of:

  • Information about the company and projects
  • Blog and knowledge base
  • Authorization and user registration
  • Project implementation (comprised of viewing information about project stages, financing news, the ability to buy a share and calculate your future income on a calculator)
  • KOPIKUPI programs (financial information and news about programs, the ability to open a program and get a loan, a large annually updated table with shareholders ratios calculated using a special algorithm and the ability to automatically change the status of shareholders in the table, calculating the order of calculations that shows how many months you can get loan at a certain level of investment)
  • Work with the balance (replenishment through Uniteller, or using automatic generation of a bank account, withdrawal of funds from the system)
  • Referral bonus program to attract new co-owners and shareholders
  • Creating gift certificates for the purchase of shares
  • Contact support (creating tickets with questions on various topics)

What has become available for Administrator:

  • Work with user base (moderation, editing, deleting), collecting statistics and analytics by users.
